The situation
A QA team of more than 40 people needed one test management tool inside Jira, with tests linked to the stories they cover.
What I did
- Configured Xray: test types, plans, executions and coverage reports.
- Moved existing test assets into Xray.
- Trained the QA team and wrote the working guidelines.
- Linked tests to Jira stories so coverage shows up in release reports.
The result
More than 40 QA people now manage tests in Jira, with coverage visible next to the work it covers. [Add a result: tests migrated, adoption time.]
